The Dreamweaver separator, produced on specialty papermaking equipment, blends cellulose nanofibers and aramid fibers (think Kevlar or Twaron) that are stable to 500°C. The separator brings more stability while also wetting out much faster than conventional separators. It also acts as a getter for water in the battery, resulting in increased cycle life.
