AT THE DREAMWEAVER SEPARATOR

Are you looking to increase thermal stability?

Look no further than the Dreamweaver nonwoven separator! The Dreamweaver separator, produced on specialty papermaking equipment, blends cellulose nanofibers and aramid fibers (think Kevlar or Twaron) that are stable to 500°C. The separator brings more stability while also wetting out much faster than conventional separators. It also acts as a getter for water in the battery, resulting in increased cycle life.

With three global licensees, the Dreamweaver separator is commercially ready for your application today.

AT THE METALLIZED FILM CURRENT COLLECTORS

Want to increase energy density while improving safety? Take a look at Soteria’s metallized film current collectors!

Produced through physical vapor deposition, the aluminum and copper metallized films burn out like a fuse around an internal short, isolating it and allowing a cell to continue functioning after damage. Plus, the current collectors remove roughly 80% of the metal of a traditional foil, increasing gravimetric and volumetric energy density.
