Collaborative Projects That Drive Impact

Soteria’s Consortium doesn’t just talk about safety – we tackle it together. When industry challenges arise, we unite industry leaders to find solutions through purpose-driven projects, like these examples:

E-Bike Battery Safety Project: in response to growing safety concerns, we brought together nearly 20 organizations – including the FDNY, NASA, Dow, and Polaris – to investigate real-world risks tied to e-bike batteries. The group disassembled packs, conducted rider surveys, and co-developed design guidelines to help build safer e-bike batteries from the start.
Battery Safety Education Task Force: To close critical training gaps for first responders and battery manufacturers, the Consortium launched a task force – featuring the Detroit Fire Department, BMW, San Diego Fire-Rescue, American Battery Solutions and others. Together, the task force is building a certified curriculum to improve safety knowledge.
