Battery Manufacturing Safety Workshop

Ensuring Safety of Workers in Battery Manufacturing Facilities

No one should feel at risk in their workplace, yet battery fires in an industrial setting or research lab can be incredibly dangerous.

Join us on Monday, October 21st, 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina (or virtually) to discuss how to prevent battery safety events and solutions that can be safely deployed should an event occur. This workshop is a collaborative forum for industry experts to engage in topical discussions, aiming to launch a task force to develop a comprehensive best practices document. We’ll also take a tour of UNC’s BATT CAVE Research Center!

Together, we can ensure that every worker feels safer handling batteries in their workplace.
